Delete your Marry Abroad account

In the app

1. Open Marry Abroad and go to Me.
2. Tap the gear icon to open Settings, then Privacy & data.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are logged out on every phone. Members whose accounts have been removed can also delete their account from the removal screen.

Without the app

Email support@marryabroad.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile, photos, voice note, live selfie, ID check documents, the messages you sent, your proposals, shortlist, support tickets, suggestions and usage analytics. Your email address and mobile number are removed. Paid subscriptions are not cancelled automatically: cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account.

What we keep

• Reports made by or about you, to protect other members.
• Purchase records, as long as UK tax law requires (normally six years).
• If you were removed for breaking our rules: the removal record, your ID documents and selfie for up to five years, and a one-way coded fingerprint of your ID number, so the same person cannot open a new account.
